Nuke, the four-letter word Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President George W Bush have put their personal and political influence behind the landmark agreement between the two nations, upon nuclear fuel and power. The deal has met with opposition from both the BJP and the Left front which supports the UPA Government at the Centre. All opponents claim that the deal takes away India's rights as a sovereign nation to test N-weapons. The discussion is still hanging fire as the deadline for approval looms.
